Nathan and his wife Kristina have two daughters, Millie and Kallie. Outside of work, Nathan enjoys spending time with his family, live music, playing golf and rooting on local St. Louis sports teams.

I especially want to recognize Cecil and Nathan. Their communication and genuine commitment to helping me close made such a difference. Cecil went above and beyond—even texting me on Fridays just to reassure me, check in, and wish me a happy weekend. That kind of personal touch meant so much during what was an incredibly stressful process. They never made me feel like I was just another loan file. They listened, answered my endless questions, kept me informed, and continued working toward a solution every step of the way.

Working with Nathan Groves at Neighbors Bank was one of the best parts of our home-buying experience. Since we chose not to use a realtor, there were a lot of moving pieces and questions throughout the process, and Nathan consistently stepped in to help explain things that honestly went beyond what a lender is required to do. He was extremely responsive, patient, and knowledgeable from start to finish. Whether it was helping us understand timelines, paperwork, closing steps, or what to expect next, he made sure we never felt lost during the process. It never felt transactional — he genuinely cared about making sure everything went smoothly and that we understood what was happening at every stage.
