please vet the appraisers you work with, my closing was delayed a full week for no good reason. first it was due to third party appraisers but it was then delayed additional days because of 'scheduling' and closers needing two full business days, which turned into three days...I believe Melissa and Shelby did their best and were great to work with, but neighbors bank itself needs to be speedier. my lawyer said that neighbors bank was 'one of the more difficult to work with.'

Working with neighbors was the easiest home buying experience we’ve ever had. The way the website and to do list was set up made it very easy to upload our documents. The loan team kept us informed about everything that was going on and our realtor answered all of our questions in a timely fashion. We will definitely use neighbors again.

I would never use this bank again after this experience. Nobody involved on our end had ever seen anything as ridiculous as the delays and poor communication on display from Neighbors bank.
