The entire process was smooth and much less stressful than we expected, with everything clearly explained along the way.A special thank you to Shannon Matlack, who truly made this home buying experience exceptional. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and went above and beyond to answer all of our (sometimes worrying!) questions—even responding on the weekend when we fully expected to wait until Monday. That level of dedication meant so much to us and really put our minds at ease.We always felt supported and never overwhelmed. Highly recommend Neighborhood Bank, especially for first-time buyers!

It was actually horrible in the beginning and the the agents seemed unprepared at times and they were just not on the same page. Fast forward to the ending, Garrett picked the file up and ran with it. In all honesty, I would recommend Garrett with Neighbors Bank to be clear. Kudos to Garrett for bringing me the finish line. I do believe my paperwork would have been better suited in his hands.

Working with Neighbors Bank has been an extremely frustrating and inefficient experience. The underwriting process felt never-ending, with constant requests for additional documentation far beyond what is reasonably expected. Each time something was submitted, another requirement followed, creating unnecessary delays and added stress throughout the transaction.

I cannot believe the level of attention and customer service Neighbors Bank has giving me. I had to close on my new home in 30 days to meet the contract agreement with the developer. They had my application, pre approval down within hours! Every question or concerns were answered immediately. The entire team from start to closing was amazing and I have nothing but amazing things to say about the entire team. They made the whole process feel smooth and manageable. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive partner when buying a home.

Neighbors bank made my dream of owning a home come true. I never thought I would be approved for a loan and not only was I approved but at a good rate and my credit was far from excellent. The last week and days before the closing was stressful due to underwriting wanting last minute documents that I felt could have been requested earlier but I was told this happens. Heather Yackley was amazing and helped me every step of the way and was always available to help.
