Meet Shannon
With over 25 years of experience in banking, Shannon Matlack brings deep expertise and heart to every client interaction. For more than 12 years, she’s specialized as a loan officer, helping over 1,000 veterans achieve homeownership through VA loans. Her passion also extends to guiding first-time homebuyers through the mortgage process with care, clarity, and commitment.
Originally from the Midwest, Shannon launched her banking career in Columbia, Missouri, where she met her husband. In 2024, they relocated to Florida to be closer to The Bahamas—a place close to the family’s heart. Together, they’re raising their 11-year-old daughter, along with a lively crew of five hairless cats and two rescued Potcake dogs from the islands.
When she’s not helping clients achieve their homeownership dreams, Shannon enjoys showing her award-winning Sphynx cats and supporting animal welfare initiatives. Her deep-rooted love for animals began on her childhood ranch, and it continues to inspire her today.
