I am quite happy that Neighbors played an integral role in my getting my new home. Yet, it needs to realize that communicating with the borrower is an absolute necessity throughout the loan process. All communications, be it via phone, texts, email, must be answered within a 24 hour period. This includes all parties involved. My realtor was incredulous that no one ever answered any of her inquiries. All in all, with Neighbors making changes in its communications protocols, it shall be the go-to for a home mortgage. I am pleased with the end result. Everyone, when they did reach out, was helpful, friendly, and professional.

Although my loan officer was both really responsive and friendly. I would not use neighbors bank again. Almost every time I submitted something to the underwriters it was at least a week before they started working on it. I missed my closing date by over two weeks. Also the initial estimate I got for closing was low by over 6 thousand dollars, if I had not been so conservative in my offer to the seller I wouldn’t have been able to purchase my home.

This was my first home purchase. I wasn't sure where to start and what to do, I had a lot of questions. That's why I felt very comfortable because I knew what this was for and why I was signing those documents, nothing was hidden. Also, I really liked how everything was well organized step by step walking through this process. He really understands that for some people this is a one-time purchase per life and it is very important for them, so he makes sure to listen to you, see some small details and give you the best advice to make your experience perfect. Ethan has a lot of experience and he really loves everything he is doing. His rich experience, great communication and the nice friendly personality makes him the best!
