Ashley Mirth, Becca Bailey, Rachel , Rich Lee and Amber Miller were unbelievable in how they processed my home loan. They were excellent! Extremely patient and professional through a very long and drawn out process. I cannot speak highly enough of this team. Neighbors bank is lucky to have them and I will be recommending everyone I know looking to borrow to this team. The best customer service I’ve ever received and the professionalism was out of this world, far above anything I’ve ever experienced and I have had numerous experiences with lenders. Highly recommended! Thank you Team!

The amount of information and documents that were needed, seemed very excessive. The process was overwhelming and frustrating at times, to the point we almost said forget it. And fees seemed very high.

I would highly recommend Neighbors Bank to anyone looking for a mortgage, but specifically someone who needs someone who will fight for you and put in the leg work. I cannot recommend Garret enough and am happy I get to work with him as we go through the mortgage and lending process on my new home! I couldn't have done it without his help and support.
This process was one I knew would be lengthy and potentially stressful. Buying a home is not like buying a car, or financing an appliance. It is a major commitment and I understand it takes time to confirm if someone is eligible for such purchase. However, a home purchase should NOT be the way it was for my family and I. This was our first home purchase and while we didn’t know what to expect, we knew this was not how it was supposed to go. Our lender took days to respond or give an update of any sort. When we were told we’d have an update on a given day, I would have to call them at 3-3:30 for an update because they closed at 5 and I knew if I didn’t call, I wouldn’t hear from them. There were times I would call several times, hours apart, and not receive a call back. No response to text messages. Nothing. I could see the progress for my loan in our portal. There were things that took them a week to even begin to review and then tried to blame our closing company, insurance company, and realtor for not providing when in reality, the lender dropped the ball. Everyone was ready to close on time, except our lender. Everyone had done what they were supposed to, except for my lender. They were going to make us wait even longer to close so that they had more time to send out a file that would allow them to sell our loan to make money off of it, rather than letting us close on time. They prolonged closing so much that we had to send updated pay stubs a week before closing because the ones I had already provided were expired. They made us redo a well water test before the one we already did was expired, because they had already intended to push our closing date back without letting us know that. My realtor had to get involved several times and the lender team became “annoyed” and it was very evident in the emails we received. My realty team had to contact the manager of this lender and explain to them that this process was absolutely absurd and their team was being unprofessional. The steps they were taking were unnecessary. We were able to close, only a week late, but the lender made every effort possible to push it back more. The realty team worked with the bank manager Alex, and got the ball rolling. I will forever be thankful for Key Real Estate, but will never work with Neighbors Bank again. I will never refer anyone to use this lender.
We had an exceptional experience working with Neighbors Bank and Holly, our loan officer, throughout our home-buying journey. As first-time homebuyers moving from out of state, the process could have been overwhelming, but Holly made everything seamless and stress-free. She was incredibly communicative, kind, and went above and beyond to keep us informed at every step, ensuring we understood the process and felt comfortable. Her dedication and expertise truly made all the difference, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. We highly recommend Neighbors Bank and Holly to anyone looking to buy a home!
