If y’all need a loan officer, Drew Schenck is the man to talk to.
Alex and Abbie were very thorough and explained every step of the process well so I was never in the dark. This was my first time purchasing a home and applying for a home loan and I was a bit nervous about the experience, but Alex calmed my nerves and made the experience very enjoyable. I would highly recommend neighbors bank to any of my friends and family if they were looking to start the home buying process. My realtor also stated that she genuinely enjoyed working with Neighbors Bank and they were a pleasure to work with.
Neighbors bank and our real estate agent Amanda are very helpful through the whole ordeal and the process our loan went through nice and clean the process of closing was smooth and easy overall awesome experience
They are an awesome team and they make sure to help you in any way you need from talking you through anything you do not know to letting you know all of the steps along the way. They made the home buying process easy and enjoyable.
Drew Schenck Goes Out Of His Way to make it happen none better. Thanks Drew John and Beverly
Neighbors Bank is awesome to work with because of their genuine commitment to getting you your dream home. I will recommend them to anyone that is in search of their dream home! I don’t think anyone else could have done any better!!!😀😀
The entire team that I worked with, whether I talked to them nearly daily through the whole process (Rusty and Gelvin) or were working behind the scenes to get me through the underwriting process were so helpful and thorough. They always had realistic times lines, had things completed ahead of schedule more often than not. I had an incredibly tight turnaround due to an ending lease and they did not disappoint. I was even able to get moved in an turn my the keys to my rental a day early despite closing the week between Christmas and New Years. They were able to explain complicated processes in a way that was both easy to understand and not belittling. Finance has never been my forte and they always made me feel like I was in full control of the situation and completely understood everything through the whole process. I am also a single woman that never thought I would be able to be a homeowner in my own rights, and yet here I am writing this from the comfort of my new home office.Special shoutout to Rusty, who despite it being in the thick of the holiday season, still fought to make sure that I made it through underwriting before my lease ran out on my rental. I'm sure I cut into his personal time several times, and had issues arise during off hours that needed an immediate resolution. He sacrificed his personal time to make sure I was in a good place financially and emotionally, never making me feel like a bother. He was also incredibly accommodating of all of my many questions and jumped through any and all hoops that came his way when it came to getting us closed on the house. Also, I will say, one of my favorite things that put the me most at ease was the fact that Rusty and Gelvin were never afraid to say "I'm not sure, but I will find out and get back to you with the correct information." I was buying my first home in small rural city with weird tax rules, and I work remotely for a company in a state across the country that I've never actually been to. This came with a lot of very unusual questions, and I will admit that I had a lot of anxiety about the process. I also had a lot of questions that may or may not have been relevant at the time, but I still wanted to make sure that it wouldn't be an issue later down the line that would cause a denial, and they always made sure that my questions were important and worth a through answer, relevant at the time or not.No matter how random or off the wall my questions were, they still deserved an answer, and they always got one. They never would make up an answer in order to keep moving along the loan process or tell me that it wasn't something I had to worry about, they would stop and take the time to find the answer and get it to me. That put me more at ease than working with a loan officer that seemed to magically know everything. No one is going to have all the answers, that's why there is a team in place. They were never afraid to acknowledge that, and would tap in other experts on the subject whenever possible. They always felt like they were on my side, and wanted this to work for me almost as much as I did, and never once did they feel like sales people. The entire team that helped me secure my first home deserves all the praise and recognition (and raises!) in the world.
They wanted way more paperwork then other lenders stay they should have needed.
Melissa and Brooke are the absolute best!! Any future home loans I would use them again.
