Our initial experience with Neighbors Bank and our loan officer was great- she was very responsive, helpful and prompt during the qualification and pre-approval phases. During our closing, however, our loan officer and her team were difficult to get ahold of, less than helpful, and left us regretting our decision to finance through Neighbors. We are hoping future refinancing transaction(s) go more smoothly.

Scott and his team were amazing. I would highly recommend working with their team. Their customer portal is so easy and hassle free to use. I felt safe and secure sending documents with sensitive information. I never once felt uneasy about anything. They made an extremely stressful situation easier to deal with. The communication was always kind, professional, and informative.

Neighbor’s Bank has been incredibly pleasant to work with. Ashley Patterson and Abbie Maislin have been amazing to have on my team! They made the entire process, start to finish, very easy!! Any and all questions were answered promptly, completely and they made us always feel welcomed, and not a burden, as we always wondered different things when it came to the home buying process. It was tedious and I was not happy that the closing costs kept changing, starting from the seller was to pay, to me paying over $10,000 for closing costs. To also having a 2nd mortgage that nobody was aware of. I'm happy we got the house, but the experience was awful

Neighbors bank got us our home loan! AND down payment assistance! We are so thankful! The only issue we had was a lack of communication. At times we wouldn't receive a response for days, and several times we never got a response at all during the process. Our real estate agent was so responsive and communicative with us, that it was very stressful when we would send messages, emails, and phone calls to the lender but not hear anything back for days or again sometimes not even at all. At the end we closed with the help of neighbors bank, so that's what matters most.

As a first time home buyer I was overwhelmed with the prospect of securing a home loan, but then I connected with Neighbors Bank. The entire process was done online which was a huge benefit! I was in constant contact with my loan officer from start to finish and Melissa took time to explain the loan process in an easy to understand manner. She and Abbey were great to work with!!
