The buying experience could have been smoother. I do feel like there was some miscommunication with the realtor that made the underwriting process a little hectic. All is good and I am loving my new home. Thank you for making my dreams come true!

Our experience with Neighbors Bank was less than helpful. There were multiple people reaching out at different times with different information. We were given "estimates" on many numbers such as closing costs, but there were multiple numbers given and they were no where near each other. It was hard to plan when given numbers like $8,000, $2,000, $400, and $900 within a small time frame. Additionally, when we arrived at the title company to close on our home, the bank had not yet made the payment. This was frustrating and an additional step our realtor had to take to ensure we could finish the process.

I felt that the person assigned to us, working under Chris, could have been more in tune with the process. I felt like there were things that could have been done differently to help make this experience easier. Not the least of which was better communication. Giving us answers to our questions about tasks or giving us our tasks in a more timely manner. There were times I had questions that I couldn't reach my person who was "helping" us with the process and I had to ask my real estate agent to reach out for me as she had better luck getting the answers I needed. The question above asked about would I recommend neighbors bank, yes, but not unconditionally.
