We had a wonderful experience with Neighbors Bank. Both Garrett and Jill were great. Garrett helped us from getting pre approved until we closed. He was always available for any questions we had, and we had many. Jill was also wonderful. She was very pleasant each time we spoke with her. They made the entire process smooth and kept us informed at every step.

Since the beginning everyone I worked with was so kind and willing to help. I never felt like any questions I had were pushed off or inconvenient, even when I asked a lot of them. They worked through the hiccups and had great communication.

My homebuying journey had several hiccups along the way due to small errors, and at times, I felt discouraged. However, my loan team, specifically Evelyn Chavez and David M., went above and beyond to help me reach my goal of becoming a homeowner.They were on top of everything, communicated in a timely manner, and clearly explained what documents were needed throughout the process. What stood out most was their willingness to brainstorm solutions rather than give up when things became challenging. When my debt-to-income ratio was too high, Evelyn helped me explore refinancing my car to lower my monthly payment and improve my ratio. As a result, I was able to purchase my home while also securing a lower car payment!There were moments when I felt discouraged, and I believe Evelyn could hear it in my voice. However, she never gave up on me. She never simply called to say, “No, we can’t do it.” Instead, she continued looking for options, thinking creatively, and helping me find a way forward. That level of dedication and persistence meant more to me than she may ever realize.As a first-time homebuyer, I had many questions and a lot to learn. Evelyn was patient, approachable, and always willing to take the time to explain things so I could understand the process. I never felt that my questions were a burden, and I truly appreciated the education and guidance I received along the way.Although the process was not perfect, the support I received from Evelyn and David made a significant difference. I am incredibly grateful for their commitment, problem-solving, and determination to help me achieve my goal of homeownership. I would especially like to recognize Evelyn for not giving up on me when things became difficult. Working with Reed S. and Austin L. was such a great experience, I highly recommend them!!I want to highlight that this team was so responsive and ready to help with all of our questions throughout the home buying process, especially as first time home buyers. They made us feel positive and truly felt like our needs were prioritized.We were working with a different lender and had submitted an offer with that lender, but unfortunately, they were not transparent and were not professional, which in turn nearly cost us our dream house. With the support of Reed S., Austin L., and Julia K., we were able to secure our loan with a very tight window. Thanks to the heroes at NeighborsBank, we are not officially home owners!!!
