After working with two other lending companies that unfortunately fell short, my experience with Neighbors Bank was a refreshing and positive change. Charles was consistently friendly, professional, and compassionate throughout the entire homebuying process.He was patient and understanding when addressing my questions and helping me manage the anxiety that can come with purchasing a home. His communication, reassurance, and support made the process feel far less overwhelming.I also appreciated Jessica’s leadership and support as the team lead. Together, Charles and Jessica helped make the process smoother and gave me confidence that my loan was in capable hands.I truly appreciated the care, professionalism, and respect shown throughout the process. I would gladly recommend Charles, Jessica, and Neighbors Bank to anyone looking for a lender who is knowledgeable, dependable, and genuinely cares about their clients.

I felt that our experience was great. We had one home purchase fall through due to the condition of the home, but once we started looking at a new one, the process went so smoothly since we had already submitted all of our documents. There were times when I would have liked clearer or quicker communication, but overall we felt that our loan team was on top of it.

Sometimes things seem very daunting when you take on as big of an investment as buying a home, that’s why having the right team to support your needs is so very important. Neighbors Bank provided that team and even though we had obstacles and challenges, they never backed down for a second. We all made the dream of home ownership a reality together. I couldn’t be more grateful and pleased. I was blessed with the absolute best team I could possibly have.

I have bought 3 other houses in the past and have never dealt with such chaos with this lender. Not to mention, I was told my interest rate was 6.75% then it went to 7.125% and then 7.5%. After much discussion they lowered it to 7.25, which still sucks! They had no real, clear answer on why it went up. I have excellent credit. And while I was signing my paperwork the interest rate on the paperwork showed 6.75% and the closing attorney said she would tell the lender about it. Also, the closing got pushed out a week because they weren’t ready, they scheduled the appraiser a few days before the scheduled closing which is just ridiculous. I had to pay for the appraiser to go back a 2nd time for no reason. He said he couldn’t get into the crawl space but funny enough my brother and the AT&T tech opened it right up before and after the appraiser went there. There were too many people handling this loan and they weren’t on the same page. Then finally the day of closing (yesterday), they didn’t send the funds. Some other thing happened and they had to cut the check the next day after closing. They would tell me everything was fine then it would fall through last minute; their communication was Terrible. This whole process was HORRIBLE. I will NEVER recommend this bank to anyone, friends or enemies. It is not worth the stress. Never again!
