I've never left a review before now on anything whatsoever. But this experience was so ridiculous It's hard to believe. The 1st if 8 closing dates they provided was on April 30th this year. The loan finally closed just yesterday. They prevented closing for the last 2 months due to me needing to come up with $8k for closing costs only to receive a $500 check from themselves due to them estimating incorrectly to somehow owe me that money at closing. Postponed again during the 6th month of closing over a .67 transaction in my daily checking account from 3 months prior they wanted me to explain and even ended up telling me I needed to contact an acquaintance that I had wired money to recently and have them provide they're personal bank statements to show they weren't holding money for me in a separate account in their name. Completely bizarre. But hey, they did send me a coupon in email hours after closing for a free appraisal for anyone I refer to them! This is your referral if you can benefit from it!

This has been the absolute hardest process. The Loan officer I dealt with did not seem to know how to communicate or was not interested in helping but thankfully the loan coordinator I had assigned to my loan, J.D. Parks, was great and he was always willing to help answer any questions I had. All though the loan officer did not listen to several issues I had with the information she provided to me, J.D. was able to understand my issues and address them.

Neighbors Bank has proven they are the right mortgage bank. The staff are all intelligent, caring, along with modest sensitivity to its customers needs. I'm 70 the time this is written. I was approved for a loan to purchase a Lennar home in Las Vegas, but just did not feel right about using the builders loan company, title company seemed like a potential for issues. The people I worked with were great, but the paperwork required was ridiculous. Some papers I had to send 2-3 times. The same document over and over. Had to sign a lead paint paper twice and initial the same document twice.
