Ashley Owens and Alyssa Dowen were an absolute pleasure to work with, they made what was stressful experience for me into something I was able to get through and remain sane. They where there for any questions with a quick response and I never felt abandoned during the process. I would and am highly recommending Neighbors Bank to any of my friends or family interested in purchasing a new home.

I would not recommend Neighbors Bank. The lack of communication was terrible, they forgot to send the package to the title company on closing, and I never received a fully updated amount for closing costs until an hour after closing was schedule. I had to be late for closing due to having to go back to the bank and get another cashier's check made for a different amount for closing costs. While I couldn't be happier in my new home, I would never use this bank again. I was ignored on several emails and attempted to call several times with no reply.

I will never forget the day we got the call we were approved for our loan, I was in the swimming pool and I about fell out of the pool when I received the good news bc I was beginning to think it wasn't going to happen. My neighbor's at the rental we were in got a great laugh that day.

There really wasn't enough client coaching/support/ advice given along the way. Lot of repeat steps, lot of feeling interrogated. I was close to backing our of the deal because of it all. Closing attorney and realtor both agreed of the frustration.

As a first time homebuyer, I knew what to expect but I didn’t know what to expect. Neighbors guided me through a process that I started, as a teacher in the middle of state testing and it went SEAMLESSLY. They are awesome.

My closing was delayed from the original closing date with no heads up. They piled a bunch of to do things on at the last second twice, but we finally got it through because my loan officer seems to have been fired? I’m not sure. I tried to call my original loan officer and she ignored me several times, then was very short with me interrupting me many times through our conversation. Overall the process was very frustrating.

When my husband and I started our journey in the home buying process, I never thought homeownership was possible OR even achievable. We started our home search in Realtor.com and start plugging in numbers. On a "grins or giggles" moment, I hit "Get Pre-Approved" and the started some paperwork. Pleasantly surprised, woke to an email that we had been Pre-Approved for an amount I never thought I could imagine.Our Loan Officer, Jennifer K. Brown was OUTSTANDING as well as our Underwriter Shea Gkika. These ywo beautiful women literally brought us home! We closed on our lil dream home on May 29th 2026 and help me achieve a dream NOT possible, at least I thought.So yes, I will be referring friends and family to Neighbors Bank. They're next customer will be may Daughter and Son-In-Law.Absolute amazing experienced for this scaried cat first time home buyer!
